## Conductive ABS Compound: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

    **

**Q1: What is the resistance value of conductive ABS compound?**

A: The resistance value is typically **below 10⁸ Ω**, adjustable by filler system and loading level.

**Q2: Is conductive ABS the same as anti-static ABS?**

A: Not exactly. Conductive ABS is a functional composite based on ABS with conductive fillers added; its resistance range generally covers anti-static (static dissipation) through conductive, so selection should be made by specific grade and resistance requirement.

**Q3: What is the difference between RenJie C121 and C121H?** A: C121 focuses on **stable electrical properties** — small fluctuations in resistivity and surface resistance across temperature, humidity and frequency changes. C121H focuses on **high impact and high rigidity**, with better melt fluidity, easier mold filling and a shorter molding cycle.

**Q4: What is the heat resistance of conductive ABS and can it be improved?**

A: Heat deflection temperature is generally **86 ℃–100 ℃** and can be raised by about **10 ℃** after **annealing**, meeting the requirements of some high-temperature environments.

**Q5: Can conductive ABS be used for medical device housings?**

A: Yes. Its stable conductive performance helps reduce the impact of static electricity on equipment and patients — for example, housings of diagnostic devices such as electrocardiographs.
