What Is a Conductive ABS Compound?
A conductive ABS compound is a composite material that uses acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) as the base resin and adds various conductive fillers to make it conductive. The base ABS resin is available in injection molding grade and extrusion grade to match different processing methods.
- Resistance level: The resistance value of the conductive ABS compound is below 10⁸ Ω, placing it in the anti-static to conductive range so that static charge can be dissipated effectively.
- Functional positioning: It keeps the good processability, appearance and mechanical performance of ABS while adding stable conductivity and static-dissipation capability.
